Make this: Crockpot Chicken Cacciatore

Jake and I received a crock pot as a gift from his aunt and uncle for our wedding. Our first adventure with it turned out so well (this pot roast) that we decided to try out another recipe.

This recipe for the crock pot came from a mixture of a few different ideas. I started with a basic concept based off a recipe I saw online and then when I found Crockery Gourmet seasoning mix, I combined it with their recipe on the back of their packet.

This recipe worked very well and we're actually planning on making it again this week!

Crockpot Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
1 packet Crockpot Gourmet mix for Chicken
28 oz can Diced Tomatoes with Basil and Oregano
1 small can sliced olives
1 large onion, chopped
4 chicken breasts
pasta of some sort

Directions
1) put packet of mix, tomatoes, olives, onions, and chicken breasts in the crock pot on low for 7-8 hours

2) about 20 minutes before serving, boil noodles

3) serve chicken/sauce poured over noodles

**I found that the textured, shaped noodles worked best with this recipe but you can use any you'd like!
